Non-Teaching Staff Association
The non-teaching staff members of City College form a central part on the institutional infrastructure. Their untiring effort to maintain the academic ambience and discipline of the college is evident in every field of daily execution. The staff members put their sincerest effort to work in tandem with the administrative and the teaching component of the college community to preserve and improve the standard of institutional output.

The forum for the staff members, known as "City College Employees' Union" was founded in February 1953. The first secretary of this organization was Sri Suniti Cahttopadhyay. Some of the eminent leaders of yore were Sri Panchanan Bhattacharya, Sri Sailendranath Sajjan, Sri Hariprasad Bose and Sri Chittaranjan Mallick, to name a few.

Among its chief commitments, the employee's Union especially upholds the responsibility to ensure job security of all the employees of the college. To look after their benefits and right is also an undertaking, no less important. The honour of this prestigious Institution, of which they are an integral part, is of course the prime concern for all the staff members.

The employee's forum of City College is enthusiastic about fulfilling its social responsibility and frequent cultural and community service programmes are arranged to address such requirement. Moreover to bring in a note of recreation and fellowship among its members the employees union often organizes excursions, picnics and other community activities.
